LisaBeth was invited to speak at a TEDx event in Phoenixville, PA. She spoke on creativity, but not necessarily in the way one might expect. The talk was centered around the idea that everyone is creative, even if they don’t know it yet, and how creativity takes on many forms beyond the arts.

LisaBeth wrote the song “Trouble Man” in tribute to electric crews working in dangerous post storm conditions. The response to this video was tremendous and LisaBeth received many notes from linemen and their families thanking her for writing a song honoring these first responders. This led to her song being in the credits of the film LIFE ON THE LINE starring John Travolta and Kate Bosworth.

LisaBeth has been making handmade pins for various causes for over 20 years. Many non-profit organizations have utilized the pins for fundraising and awareness campaigns and the pins have been worn by notables such as Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem, and Madeleine Albright.

They met when the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and LisaBeth was a theater manager. She helped them find a place to play music and they invited her to join. And yes, that is John Batiste sitting in!
